Thanksgiving Greetings
It is the day for loved ones to gather far or near
To celebrate for all that life has gave
To be with the our family we love so dear
A treasured time in our memories to save
The helping to prepare for the Thanksgiving meal
By setting the dishes in their proper places
Old friendships sought and new ones revealed
This is one of the days true embraces
Family and friends with their heads bowed in prayer
Giving thanks for this wonderful day
Wishing them a safe journeys home to all who shared
In the happiness had in our memories to stay
For at the time this day does end
There’s a wonderful scene for all eyes to see
That of the children with prayers to send
On what they would like their Christmas to be
